Golden Axe Wiki

I've tried and tried and tried, but I can't get the character info box to show. I even copied and pasted one that did work from a character page on another wiki, replacing that character's info with Tyris', but it still won't show. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Finally figured out the infobox. I also replaced the picture of Tyris in it with one from the final game, since the one already there didn't look anything like her final design. I also revised the contents of the page, as each section was one single, giant sentence. Ghost Leader 00:54, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

Former princess of Yuria?...[]

According to the official arcade flyer of Golden Axe her full name is Tyris Firewood Flare (ティリス・ファイアーウッド・フレイヤー, teirisu faia^uddo fureiya^). If we search further "Firewood" is the name of her kingdom that was attacked by Death=Adder when she was a child. "Golden Axe Warrior", one of the prequels, just confirm that she is the princess of Firewood.

Yuria, on the other hand, didn't existed at the time of "Golden Axe Warrior". In fact the original name for Yuria is "Southwood". Not only that's the Japanese name, but is also the name that appears in "Ax=Battler - a lagend of Golden Axe". Only the English manual called Southwood "Yuria" (and now Beast Rider, a US game).

On the other hand, the last Golden Axe game (The Duel) states that Milan Flare, a descendent of Tyris Flare, is the princess of Winwood. 84.90.25.172 19:59, June 30, 2013 (UTC)

Alive?[]

I'm relatively new here but I've been trying to contribute.

I noticed in the Tyris Flare info box that it states she is alive, at what point in the series does Beast Rider take place?

In the Japanese instruction manual for Golden Axe III it states that Gilius Thunderhead is the last remaining warrior from the time of the defeat of Death Adder and Dark Guld which would imply that both Tyris Flare and Ax Battler have both died, presumably of either old age or Death Adder.

Would it be fair to place this chronologically between Golden Axe II and Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder since both Ax Battler and Tyris Flare are absent from games after Golden Axe II?
