Tyris Flare is a main protagonist of the Golden Axe franchise and the sole playable character in Golden Axe: Beast Rider.
Personality
Tyris is shown as a calm and collected woman. Her half-Amazon upbringing has made her tough and strong willed. Very skilled with a blade, she values the sisterhood more than anything else and would sacrifice her life for her sisters without a thought. She also has great respect for the dwarf Gilius Thunderhead.
Abilities
Tyris is highly skilled with a blade, using it with great proficiency. She has also gained magical powers that were granted to her by the Great Dragon Titan himself, the ability to cast powerful fireballs which has made her able to handle any situation. She is also very nimble, able to parry or evade most of the attacks thrown at her, and counter them with brute force. She is also very skilled at riding many of the beasts she encounters, from the reptilian Abrax to the stealthy Lynth to many other beasts. She rides them in her battle against Death Adder.

Appearance
Tyris has a slim build, red hair, green eyes, and white warpaint on her face (specifically around her eyes). She wears many different outfits throughout the game, depending on which level she is in.
